Wezi is a dynamic and resourceful Creative Producer with a passion for bringing bold artistic projects, big-hearted collaborations, and storytelling that reflects the depth and diversity of our communities to life.
Her work lives at the intersection of performance, public art, and cultural celebration — with experience delivering innovative, cross-disciplinary work across theatre, dance, circus, physical theatre and visual arts from site-specific theatre and festivals to murals that take over city walls.
Wezi is the creative force behind AfriFest—Scotland’s first festival dedicated to celebrating and amplifying the richness of the African diaspora. She led the development of the Scotland-wide BLM Mural Trail from concept to delivery, curating a powerful showcase of the black Scottish artistic community’s vibrant visual artworks.
Wezi has had the joy of producing work with incredible organisations like National Theatre of Scotland, Edinburgh International Festival, Traverse Theatre, British Council, Lyceum Theatre and Jupiter Artland — shaping everything from operatic adventures in unexpected places to quiet moments of magic in public parks.
An active advocate for inclusive and equitable practices in the arts, Wezi has served as a trustee for Birds of Paradise Theatre, New Music Scotland, and HODA.
